The Seven Lakes Country Club offers a unique living experience with luxury homes, condominiums and a spectacular executive golf course. Homeowners enjoy a breathtaking view of the greens and fairways along with the mid-century modern architecture of the area.
This gated community is situated on 120 acres of land in South Palm Springs. You’ll find a beautiful eclectic group of structures by architects William Cody and Ric Harrison. Amenities include 15 heated swimming pools, barbecue areas, bar/lounge, 15 spas, tennis court, and 24 hour guard gated security. Members also enjoy landscaping services and a 30-year reserve funding program. The 18-hole executive golf course was designed by Ted Robinson and opened in 1965. It is a private non-equity golf course with 2,712 yards of golf with a par 58. Guests must be accompanied by a member. Golf services include cart rentals, driving range, bar service, chipping area, and rental clubs.
The beautiful condos have many amenities such as wrap around patios, clerestory windows, travertine floors, kitchen with pantry, built-in cabinetry, walls of glass, and fireplaces. Schools in this area include the public facilities of Raymond Cree Middle School, Palm Springs High School, and highly ranked Cielo Vista Charter School.
Built between 1964 and 1972, the club features wonderful mid-century modern examples. Cody supported desert modernism and designed the Palm Springs Library Center and the Del Marcos Hotel. Harrison worked close with Donald Wexler on residential design and steel. Noteworthy events include the meeting of President Lyndon B. Johnson and former President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1968. Their day of golf at the club helped market Palm Springs as the “playground of presidents.”
Palm Springs is a popular getaway with its many restaurants, upscale shopping, and entertainment. The Coachella Valley wilderness offers many trails for horseback riding, biking, and hiking.
